Communal Learning

We, staff, students and parents at Sacred Heart Secondary School, Benin City, brought together by a common desire are all learners, through communal endeavour of exchange of ideas, experience and skills.

Our Source of Inspiration

We affirm our belief in the model of our Lord, Jesus Christ, as “Teacher, Giver of all good gifts and the Light of the world,” under whose inspiration and faith we claim the possibility of growth for every individual participant in the school community.

Developing Creative Potentials

(I) Hence, we put in place an enabling environment and a conducive atmosphere, to enhance the creative potentials of all participants for the benefit of the child.

(II) Expression of unconditional love. There is a need for the expression of unconditional love to bind our unity in diversity.

Positive Feelings and Sense of Self-Worth:
We believe feelings are important; so we encourage children, staff and parents to understand and express their own feelings and, as well listen to, and respect those of others to promote a sense of self-worth in children and adults.
